Congratulations to Angeline & Craig
Congratulations to Angeline & Craig who celebrated their wedding on Saturday 8th November 2008 at the Holy Name Of Mary Catholic Church in Hunters Hill.

Angeline’s day started out at the Park Hyatt which is positioned right on the water’s edge of Sydney Harbour. She prepared for the day with the help of her mum and two Bridesmaids, while enjoying spectacular views of the Harbour. Angeline designed her gorgeous princess cut ivory wedding dress herself with a little help from Bizzaro Bridal and it all came together beautifully.

Even thought there were a few showers in the morning, the rain cleared in time for Craig and Angeline’s wedding ceremony which, was held at the heritage-listed church of the Holy Name of Mary and officiated by the very humorous Father John Stork. Both of Angeline’s brothers walked her down the aisle to the angelic sounds of the 35 piece choir.

Their very moving ceremony was witnessed by family and friends and concluded with the wonderful sound of the choir. With the couple now official married it was time for some group shots outside the lovely grounds of the church and then we headed off to Observatory Hill, The Rocks & The Art Gallery for some fun and romantic shots of Angeline & Craig with their bridal party.

The reception was held at Doltone Loft, Doltone House in Pyrmont Point, where their elegant theme carried through the evening. The tables were decorated with chocolate coloured table cloth and the centrepiece on each table was a tall vase with white roses. The placement cards were white tea light candles with each guest’s name individually printed on the outside of the candle holders and their gorgeous 4 tier wedding cake had an absolutely stunning Swarovski crystal monogram topper.

Shortly after the couple’s arrival their guests were treated to the screening of a growing up montage and MTV style clip of Craig and Angeline, which we filmed and edited one weeks prior to their wedding day. Just before the formalities Angelo from GM Photographics and Evro took the couple outside for some gorgeous sunset shoots.

Their guests were treated to delicious mouth watering meals starting with an entrée of either sticky pork belly and enoki mushrooms with mango kohlrabi salad or poached salmon infused vanilla oil, rocket, pink grapefruit & celeriac salad. The Main meal was a choice of Porcini dusted beef fillet, infused with coriander & garlic, mashed potatoes, green beans, oven dried roma, sambal oelek aioli or Asian five spiced corn fed chicken breast, orange anion compote, baby buk choy, white bean garlic puree, szechuan pepper jus. And to finish off with dessert of either Caramel sour cherry cheesecake, kirsch soaked cherries or Chocolate mud fondant with cognac mascarpone, pistachio biscotti - yum yum

The official formalities included a very heartfelt and emotional speech from Craig and some very funny telegrams read out by the Best man, followed be one of the best Bridal Waltzes we’ve ever shot - the couple danced their first dance on the ground floor while the guests looked from above on the mezzanine level, it was absolutely breathtaking!

Regrettably we ran out of time for a group shot with Angeline & Craig, however, Evro and I would like to say a big Thank You to them both for looking after us throughout the day and making sure we were treated like guests at their reception, also for being super organised which made our job all that easier…thank you so much we truly appreciate it.

We’d also like to thank Angelo from GM Photographics who was great to work with and we’re looking forward to working with him again in December. Thanks also go to Master of Ceremonies - Aurelio Tenaglia for not only being such a great guy to work with but a true professional.

!! A note to all couples regarding Audio !!
- A note to all couples regarding Audio -
Do you want clear speeches & music in your wedding film or do you want it to sound like home video?
We are capturing YOUR memories, it is YOUR right to ask the venue that will be hosting your reception that they provide video producers with access to their Audio & Music systems. Remember!! You are paying the venue to provide a service - they are working for YOU not the other way around!!
It is sad that some venues refuse to provide video producers with simple access to their audio systems when it makes such a HUGE difference to your wedding film. Click on each one of the links below to see what the real difference is and then ask your self: How do I want my wedding film to sound?
Like this? Audio Through Camera Only (BAD)
Or like this?  Audio Through Venue System (GOOD)
If you prefer the clearer sounding one, all you need to do is ask your wedding venue to provide access of their audio system to your video producer. If we are shooting your wedding then it’s quite simple because Evro is an experienced sound engineer and can coordinate any technical requirements directly with the venue, however, you need to make the initial request as you are hiring the venue to provide a service.
Thankfully most venues & DJs we work with are more than happy to provide this access. The above samples were taken from a recent wedding we filmed at the Novella Events reception centre where John the venue coordinator & Don the DJ are always happy to give us access to their audio system.

Angeline & Craig Pre-Wedding Shoot

It’s not often we get to spend a relaxing afternoon while filming, thanks to Angeline and Craig we were able to do just that. We spent Sunday 26th October 2008 filming their pre-wedding MTV clip while leisurely strolling around the Rocks & Circular Quay and taking in all the sights and sounds. There was even time for a cappuccino and drinks with the couple before finishing the shoot. We’re really looking forward to filming their wedding day.

The hard work now begins with getting the film clip edited in time to be shown at their reception on the 8th November this year.

Congratulations to Jennifer & Greg

Congratulations to Jennifer & Greg who celebrated their wedding on Saturday 25th October 2008 at St Benedict’s Catholic Church in Smithfield.

Wow!!! what a great bridal party, the laughter and fun never stopped!!!
I thought last weeks Groom’s prep was the most fun in a long time… but then Greg & his groomsmen came along! Boy did these guys know how to have fun. I was laughing so much that it was hard to keep my camera steady at times. Despite all the tomfoolery Greg’s Best Man Rocco and Groomsmen Ben, Vince & Antonio managed to get the groom ready in time for the ceremony.

Evro tells me Jennifer and her Maid of Honour Anna, bridesmaids; Rachael, Marianne & Rosa were all clam and relaxed when he got there. With their hair and make-up done it was time to get the Bride dressed. Jennifer’s courtier Francesca was there to help her into her stunning bridal gown and made sure everything was perfect. By the time I arrived at Jennifer’s after leaving the boys she was already dressed and ready for photos, I walked into the bedroom and saw a gorgeous image of a beautiful girl in an absolutely stunning grown made from Silk Georgette and finished with Swarovski crystals on the bodice.

Both the Bride & Groom’s stylish arrivals to St Benedict’s church were in C300 white Chryslers, their wedding ceremony and Nuptial Mass was officiated by Father Damien Mosakowski, who had a great sense of humour and some rather unusual advice for Greg before the ceremony. Jennifer was so happy, tears welled in her eyes as she was waiting to walk down the aisle and again during their vows, her emotions spilled over and she became tearful - it was true happiness.

With the ceremony concluded it was time for some family shots outside St Benedict’s, then we headed to The Rocks & Martin Place where the fun continued. Everyone was having so much fun that at times I had to stop filming because I had the giggles.

We eventually made it back to the Waterview at Homebush in time for the couple’s reception, which included a floor show by the man with the best sombrero in the industry, the very talented Senior Rodriguez followed by one of the finest Elvis impressions from the Best Man we have ever seen ;) Their guests were treated to delicious mouth watering meals starting from a seafood antipasto plate, orecchiette with basil & tomato, a choice of roasted corn fed chicken on garlic potato puree with roasted vegetables, pan-fired beef fillet on potato gnocchi with roasted vegetables finishing off with either a date & pecan pudding or a seasonal berry pudding. As soon as the official formalities were concluded the dance floor was packed with family and friends who danced into the night.

Have an awesome honeymoon……you guys rock!!!

We’d like to thank Jennifer & Greg for not only making it such a fun day from beginning to end, but also for looking after us throughout the day and making sure we were treated like guests at their reception rather than just service providers - gesture noted ;) Thank you also to Joe Mule, the official stills photographer; great working with you Joe! Also a big thank you has to go to Robert, the house DJ who gave us uninhibited access to his DJ console & microphone system which allowed us to get crystal clear sound of all the formalities & music. Hey Rob you did some killer beat mixing on the night and as promised I’ll give you our recording of it, hope to work with you again.
I wish other DJs and venue coordinators were as obliging!
